Showing the Goals Connection in Tasks

You can tie your work tracked in Tasks to the Goals tool to show the direct impact of your work on department and company goals. Consistent naming conventions help others to quickly understand your activities but also allow for easy searching when connecting Tasks to the Goals tool. The Tasks tool has a Plugin that allows you to show connections to Goals inside of each task.

Go to the Tasks tool.
Select a task.
Locate Plugin Suggestions then select Goals Plugin.

Result: The Goals Plugin section will display any associated goals from the Goals tool. The Goals Plugin section displays the Goals homepage link and a search bar if a goal is not currently associated with the task.

NOTE For this to work properly your Tasks Must be connected to Outcomes in the Goals tool
