Experience Overview

My experience spans technical writing, documentation leadership, documentation engineering, analytics, team support, and documentation systems work.

I’ve worked as an individual contributor, a manager, a senior manager, and a documentation engineer. Across those roles, the work has consistently involved more than drafting pages. It has included structure, standards, process improvement, reporting, mentoring, and figuring out how to make documentation more useful at scale.

Themes across my experience

Documentation for complex systems

A lot of my work has involved products, processes, and environments where the information is complicated, the audience is varied, and the content needs to stay aligned with change.

Writing plus systems thinking

I’m interested in documentation as both a writing problem and a systems problem. That means I pay attention to content structure, workflow, tooling, maintenance, and visibility, not just the finished page.

Analytics and operational improvement

I’ve used analytics, Excel, Tableau, and reporting workflows to help improve documentation visibility, planning, and process support.

Leadership and mentoring

My background includes leading documentation teams, supporting consistency and quality, mentoring writers, and helping improve how teams work together.
